Making
its world premiere at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show
in Las Vegas, USA, Ensemble’s DIRONDO CD player sets standards
in digital playback technology. The state-of-the-art one-format
design offers sound reproduction superior to multi-format players
always prone to some compromise. A top-loading professional drive
mechanism with multi-level decoupling and anti-resonance control
provides the best possible feed to a reference quality digital/analog
converter with upsampling technology. As an additional feature,
digital phase can be controlled either by remote or panel control.
The DIRONDO CD player will make listeners rediscover their collection
of CDs all over again.

Ensemble’s new DIRONDO CD drive, another breakthrough in digital
playback technology, is a reference quality CD transport (turntable)
with a top-loading professional mechanism. Its Bit Zoom signal processing
technology provides a re-sampled, practically jitter-free, bit-enhanced
digital signal with selectable 96 kHz or 192 kHz sampling frequency.
Phase inversion and additional dither are the other two parameters
that can be selected either through remote or panel control. Together
with the Dirondo drive’s multi-level decoupling and isolation
of the mechanism, and the ultra-low noise power supply with proprietary
isolation transformer, the information read from CDs reaches a new
level of quality. Used together with a d/a converter, like the dichrono
hi-dac, a new dimension of CD playback will be attained.
